My name is Charles R. Tropp and I am a professional consumer bankruptcy attorney. When you come by for your free consultation,you will meet with me personally - not a paralegal or associate attorney. I am a graduate of NYU Law School and since 1968 I have been licensed to practice in all areas of the law and all Courts in the State of New York. Prior to establishing my law practice in Staten Island in 1973 I was an Assistant Corporation Counsel with the City of New York. I am also admitted to practice in the Federal and Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Although the State of New York does not recognize practice specialties, I have by choice largely limited my practice on Staten Island to representation of consumer debtors. If you're worried about fees, relax! My fees are reasonable and competitive with other attorneys handling bankruptcy cases. In addition, a portion of your fees can be deferred and paid under your Chapter 13 plan. When you come in for your free initial consultation and after I have had a chance to review your case, I will provide you with a written estimate of the fees you will incur.
